GIANT ROBOT RANT!

Ok....Time for a good ol' giant robot rant.

Giant robots own. Period. But...There are TWO types. Remember watching Gundam...you know,
the Japanese Anime with the melodramtic plot and the flying robots called "Mobile suits?"
Don't lie to me. You watched it do. But oh well.

There are two types of Giant Robots.....The Western Kind, and the Eastern (Aka Japanese anime) kind. Myself, I'm a western style kinda guy...Yea, I'm a stereotypical American...so shut up.

The western style ones...think hell in a small package. Starting out as a table top game, it took place in the very far future......oh what the hell am I worrying about the history for!
'American' Mechs follow our love of Rambo....Lots and lots and lots of guns, rockets, and lasers beams and rilfes, and just lots of guns....and more guns. Its no wonder we like guns. Anyway...These Mech's own. Why? Guns. :D! (Yes, I used an anime face. So sue me)

Then...there are those....Anime......ones.....the whole melodramtic "WHY MUST WE FIGHT! WHY MUST I USE THIS GIANT ROBOT THAT ONE SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO USE"........It's not for me. Sure, I love Gundam as much as the next person...but I can only hear the words "No! I will not use my robot with laser cannons and missiles and all the things people WANT to see in an anime to kill you!" so many times. Meanwhile...the rest of the world is sleeping while two robot pilots talk about why a giant space colony is crashing down because someone wanted to play Hitler.

Let's do a quick battle...between a Anime-style robot, and a 'Western' style robot. It would go somthing like this.

Anime Robot Pilot(ARP)
"You! Why must you fight me! I am fighting for my cause! Do not stand in my way!"

Western Robot Pilot
"....Look buddy, I got a girl to meet in an hour. Now, are you going step out of my way, or fight me?"

ARP
"No! I will not allow you to hurt the ones I love! I will stand in your way!"

WRP
".....Ok weirdo..."...*flips switch and fires 30 rockets at the other giant robot*

ARP
"WHY! Why must it end this way!....NOOOOO!"

WRP
*Waits for rockets to hit....10 seconds later*

ARP
"Nooooooooooooooooooooo! *BOOOOOOOM*.

WRP
"Alright! Time to go pick up that pizza and meet my girl!" *Runs off in Mech*
